In a strategic move, Capgemini announced signing a 12-year partnership agreement with TenneT to accelerate its cloud transformation journey. The alliance intends to enhance innovation and operational efficiency within TenneT’s infrastructure.
In a deal exceeding €100 million, Capgemini will drive the adoption of emerging technologies by overseeing the transition from on-premises data centers to the cloud. This involves delivering a fully managed, compliant and highly secure cloud-based infrastructure for TenneT.
With over 23,500 kilometers of high-voltage connections serving 42 million end-users in the Netherlands and parts of Germany, TenneT is a major player in the energy sector. Over the 12-year term, Capgemini will enhance TenneT’s understanding and utilization of cloud technology through training and coaching initiatives, expediting its adoption process. Additionally, Capgemini will offer technology strategy advisory and consulting services to facilitate smooth business transformation for TenneT.
